ANS Trawling

Fishing Responsibly. Feeding the Region. Sustaining the Future.

Founded in 2025 and proudly based at the Tema Fishing Harbour in Ghana, ANS Trawling is a West African marine harvesting company focused on the sustainable and traceable extraction of high-value seafood from the Gulf of Guinea. Our mission is simple but powerful: To supply premium seafood to both coastal and landlocked African markets, while protecting the marine ecosystem we depend on.

We combine technology, expertise, and environmental stewardship to ensure our operations support the long-term sustainability of marine resources. Our primary markets include Ghana and landlocked countries in West Africa that rely on trusted coastal suppliers for access to fresh and frozen seafood. We are proud to bridge this gap—connecting ocean harvests to inland demand.

Our Operations

With a fleet of modern, GPS-enabled trawlers and a crew trained in sustainable fishing protocols, we carry out deep-sea and midwater trawling operations targeting key species such as:

  • Shrimp
  • Snapper
  • Cuttlefish
  • Tuna
  • Soul Fish
  • Lobsters
  • Croaker & other demersals

Our vessels are equipped with onboard cold storage and initial processing units, enabling us to maintain freshness from ocean to dock. Every catch is tracked, sorted, and delivered in line with HACCP and ISO 22000 standards.

Our Reach

While Ghana remains our home market, we serve a broader regional footprint, supplying seafood to:

  • Local restaurants & cold stores
  • Inland markets in Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger
  • Exporters and processors for EU & Asian destinations

By bridging ocean supply with inland demand, we help reinforce food security and nutrition access across West Africa.

Our Principles

We operate under four key principles:

  1. Responsibility – We adhere to Ghana’s Ministry of Fisheries regulations and regional ECOWAS quotas.
  2. Traceability – From vessel to vendor, every catch can be tracked to its source.
  3. Environmental Stewardship – We actively mitigate bycatch and avoid illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing zones.
  4. Community – We invest in coastal communities through employment and ocean literacy programs.

The Future

We envision a thriving ocean economy where seafood remains abundant, ecosystems are respected, and local economies prosper. With innovation, regulation, and community partnerships, ANS Trawling is leading the way.

ANS Trawling – Fishing responsibly. Feeding the region. Sustaining the future.
